Copper Canyon, TX

Modern day Copper Canyon came about in 1973. At that time several residents got together and decided to incorporate the Town in order to preserve the rural atmosphere of the community. Council Meetings were held in homes until 1978 when several residents got together and built the current Town Hall at 400 Woodland Drive. The developer of the Woodlands Addition donated the land. Community spirit in the Town was a wonderful asset and continues to be the bond that brings the residents together and makes Copper Canyon what it is today. (Source: Town of Copper Canyon)
